A great showroom with a wide range of tiles to suit a variety of applications. Duncan's knowledge of both products and design is second to none. As a trader I will be using Tile & Stone going forward, the prices are competitive and I prefer to support local business as opposed to other large companies, where the customer service doesn't compare.

We've always had good service so keep coming back. However this week was different. We'd had to break a tile to get at bath plumbing. Luckily we had a spare tile, but no idea of the grout! They found us on the system but sadly the grout we used was discontinued. We were loaned a grout sampler overnight and found a near match, so far so good.Went back to return the sampler and buy the appropriate small bag but they had an open pack in their store which we were offered FREE (as it would eventually go off). We only needed a small amount (just one tile remember) so promised to return the bag.This is brilliant old fashioned service. Bathroom repaired. No drama and a warm feeling of absolutely top hole service. No wonder people come back.

Recently visited Mark at Tile Stone Stanway who was extremely helpful. Took the time to understand what we wanted and guided us through a number of options without a hard sell. Highly recommended.

We visited your shop a couple of time in the last few weeks and we were assisted by Mark. He said that the tiles we wanted were discontinued, but that he would try to get them from somewhere else, and to give him a couple of days ......... WOW, did he do it for us! He called the makers in Spain and a couple of suppliers in the UK and he GOT them!Mark, to say we are grateful is an understatement; all too often people are quick to complain about the service they receive, so my wife and I feel it's only right to acknowledge the fantastic service we have received from you, 5 star service from you is obviously not enough .... thanks MarkTony and Dawn RackleyStanway, Colchester
