Our Favourite Tiles By Colour: Review

Share

If you have been following our blog series “Our Favourite Tiles By Colour” then you’ll know that we’ve covered our most popular tile colours, the advantages of using each colour and some of our favourite tile examples. If you haven’t had a chance to check out these blogs then you can click on each of the following titles to take you to that specific blog.

Today we are going to round up this blog series as it draws to a close by highlighting some of our best bits.

White

White tiles are one of our most popular colours here at The Tile and Stone Gallery. They can be used in many different settings to add contrast to a room whilst simultaneously making the room appear bigger and more welcoming.

Our Hollywood marble tile is a classic and always in fashion. The Hollywood range offers an extravagant looking tile that works beautifully on floors and walls (with a porcelain tile range that looks every bit as opulent as real marble), for a fraction of the price.

Blue

Our blue tiles are sure to bring you an element of calm, elegance and tranquillity.

The Whinfell Colonial Blue tile has been chosen to represent the colour in this roundup.
The small, handmade-effect range is eye-catching and practical. The colonial blue is a dark, rich blue that is versatile and perfect for both traditional and modern design styles. If you would prefer a lighter colour then check out the Whinfell in aqua blue as well.

Green

Green is a colour that is often overlooked by many but is often the perfect choice for those looking to create a contemporary, vintage-inspired setting.

The Rockingham tile range simply has to represent our green tiles. With its distinctive, elongated hexagonal format, it is guaranteed to turn heads, especially in the vibrant Blue Canard, a colour that hesitates between both blue and green. This range will certainly help illuminate just about any room, one of the primary reasons it is one of our favourites.

Pink

Pink tiles are normally for the more adventurous individuals out there. There are many shades and styles of pink tiles that can be used to create a fun and exciting look in the rooms of your home.

One of our more subtle pink tiles is our Tollymore range. The less dramatic rose pink is the ideal choice for many homes as it gets the balance between white and pink spot on. This soft pink tile will easily blend into modern contemporary surroundings.

Grey

Most people believe that grey tiles can give a moody or dark feel to a room, but when used correctly they can really add to your home.

Our Zonda tile comes with a gloss finish and rectified edges – when used in the right setting this tile is second to none. The tile is typically a darker shade of grey which will add a slightly different look compared to some of our other grey tiles. Available with a subtle feature tile to add a bespoke look, the Zonda range combines ceramic wall tiles with hard-wearing porcelain matt floor tiles in a subtle stone and concrete design.

Cream

Like the white tile, the cream colour is another popular favourite. Cream is often used when a lighter colour is desired (typically to add a spacious feel to a room) without having to go for a plain white look.

The Scirocco tile range replicates a natural stone design. The Scirocco bone is a uniquely coloured tile coupled with a stunning feature tile and coordinating porcelain floor tile, finished to the highest of standards to fit right into your home setting. This tile is one that stands out in our showroom and we believe the pictures just don’t do it justice.

Black

Like the grey colour, most people shy away from black as it can make a room feel smaller and darker, but when utilised well the results can be amazing.

If you’re looking for a darker tile range that is less dramatic and more subtle, our Levanto Shadow range is the ideal choice for you and your home. Coming with a clean and elegant finish, this soft black tile perfectly blends into the modern home setting. Levanto’s gentle shade and clean aesthetics are what make this range one of the favourites for all of us at Tile & Stone Gallery.

Brown

Our final, and the most recent blog was our brown colour. Brown is normally a bold choice as it’s often associated with a “mysterious” and “unknown” feeling.

Our Austria tile range makes for amazingly simple and classy feature walls. The light brown Austria tile is elegant and will inject any room with character and colour. You may not typically associate brown as being a bright colour, but the light brown Austria Mushroom tiles are a unique and beautiful shade that will work wonderfully in both traditional and contemporary style homes.

And that brings our colour round blog series to a close. We do have many more colour options, but we feel these are the most popular. If you are after a more unique colour then make sure you check out our website or head down to our showroom today, we’re sure you’ll find the colour that you’re looking for.
