Since the start of 2020 much has changed in the world, as a result of the changing needs of our customers and staff, we at Tile & Stone Gallery have also had to adapt. Due to government restrictions, our showrooms closed for a period of time earlier in the year, now that we are open again you may notice a number of changes in your local Tile & Stone Gallery showroom. All changes have been made with your safety and the safety of our staff in mind. In this blog, we take a look at the changes we have implemented in our showrooms to help keep you safe.
Wear a mask upon entry to the showroom
All customers must wear a mask upon entering a Tile & Stone Gallery showroom and for the duration of their visit. This is in line with government regulations so that we can all stay safe and limit any risks. Some customer might be more vulnerable than others and we want to ensure everyone’s safety. Our showrooms have clear signs displayed prominently to inform all customers of this message when entering.
Use hand sanitiser at front door and desk areas
For enhanced safety and hygiene we have placed hand sanitiser dispensers at the front door and sales areas of all of our showrooms. Please use these on entering the showroom and while browsing the sales area.
Keep distance from other members of the public and staff members where possible
The government advice is to keep 2 metres distance where possible. All of our showrooms now have clear floor markings to help reenforce this rule. Signs are also clearly displayed to remind you to keep your distance to 2 metres. Our sales areas are also now more distanced so that your seat in the sales area is a safe distance from your Tile & Stone sales team member when discussing your enquiry.
Pay contactless where possible
All of our showrooms take contactless payments for smaller orders. For larger card payments we sanitise the card machine after each use to minimise any risks for both you and our loyal staff.
Blue paper towels for single use
Our toilet areas are now also equipped with blue paper towels. These paper towels are specifically for single use, so any spillages or use of these towels should be one time usage, before they are discarded in the bins provided nearby.
Limited delivery
In addition to the above measures, we have also streamlined our branch delivery service. Delivery times for each showroom are as below:
Bury – Monday & Thursday
Harlow – Tuesday & Thursday
Ipswich – Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Norwich – Wednesday & Friday
Stanway – Tuesday & Thursday
